OVERVIEW
Developed a full visual identity for an indie funk band, including logos, album covers, singles artwork, and designs for merchandise and apparel.
The visuals were designed to reflect the band’s warm, energetic sound while maintaining flexibility across multiple platforms.
The band needed a visual identity that captured their musical style and could be applied consistently across music releases and merchandise. They required logos, album art, apparel graphics, and promotional materials that reflected their brand without feeling generic.
THE BRIEF
MY ROLE
Led the creative development of the band’s visual identity, including concepting, illustration, collage, logo design, typography, and artwork for albums, singles, and merchandise.
Sourced and manipulated imagery to create a cohesive visual language, developed multiple logo variations, and produced screen-printing–ready apparel graphics.
Collaborated closely with band members and management throughout production to ensure all visuals aligned with their sound, personality, and long-term branding needs.
KEY DECISIONS
Selected a warm color palette with strong black contrast to match the band’s sound.
Designed multiple logo variations to allow flexibility across merchandise and promotional materials.
Simplified artwork for apparel into one- or two-color designs for screen printing efficiency.
OUTCOME
Merchandise and apparel sold quickly, demonstrating strong engagement with fans.
Original album art for “Space Climber” and “Tangie” was released across multiple streaming platforms.
