OVERVIEW

Per Medici is a multimedia studio I founded in 2020.

The studio supports independent artists and arts-adjacent organizations while developing and selling an original catalog of apparel, print, and audiovisual work.

Via original content and collaborations, I grew the Per Medici audience from 0 to 20,000+ followers across platforms.

THE BRIEF

Establish an in-house brand and content ecosystem that attracts both customers for original collections and clients for commissioned work. Develop a cohesive brand identity and produce professional-grade multimedia content in a consistent, contemporary, and highly engaging style.

MY ROLE

Founder, creative director, designer, videographer, animator, producer.

  • Designed the full brand identity, including the Per Medici logo system, typography, color palette, and digital brand guidelines.

  • Built the permedici.com website, crafted the content strategy, and oversaw all social media growth.

  • Produced and edited videos showing creative workflows; recorded, performed, and produced all original audio.

  • Created apparel collections and produced both studio and location photography. Managed collaboration with local artists for additional promotional photography.

  • Directed all visual, musical, and motion-graphics output across the studio and its sub-brands.

KEY DECISIONS

  • Developed two distinct sub-brands—Medici Sonics (music/audio) and Medici Graphics (visual design) with dedicated animated logotypes and tailored visual languages.

  • Used tightly edited, music-driven videos as the primary growth strategy to position the studio as both technical and expressive.

  • Adopted a motion-forward design system to unify video, identity, and social content across all platforms.

  • Built apparel and product lines as an extension of the studio’s creative identity, reinforcing Per Medici as more than a service provider.

  • Focused on differentiated brand pathways for Sonics vs. Graphics to improve audience targeting, discovery, and client conversion.

  • Grew the Per Medici audience from 0 to 20,000+ followers across platforms through consistent original audiovisual content.

  • Studio videos generated over 1 million views, hundreds of thousands of likes, and strong watch-time retention.

  • Secured commissions from independent artists and arts-adjacent organizations through inbound demand.
