OVERVIEW
A series of projects across six departments at a liberal arts college in the Pacific Northwest. Broad goals were increased visibility, engagement, and accessibility for campus audiences.
#1: Collins Memorial Library
Designed a poster series to attract students to the underutilized Makerspace in the campus library basement.
The space had strong equipment and staff support but minimal visibility or awareness. The goal was to create approachable, authentic visuals that highlighted real student-made objects and encouraged participation.
MY ROLE
Led concept development, graphic design, and button-making. Showcased student Makerspace projects through a craft-inspired aesthetic. Created a collection of buttons from recycled encyclopedia illustrations to reinforce a handmade tone.
#2: Residence Hall Association
For the Residence Hall Association at UPS, I created on original logo for use on the Association social media accounts and printed posters.
The design pays homage to the school mascot, the Logger, while also incorporating the storied school hatchet into the typography.
#3: UPS Jazz Orchestra
For the UPS Jazz Orchestra I created an album cover for the Orchestra’s first ever album, released both physically and digitally in 2020.
The work is an analog collage.
#4: Staff Senate
For the UPS Staff Senate, I created printed promotional posters and team name cards to support Senate events like the Plant Market and Staff Trivia Night.
#5: Student Accessibility and Accommodation
For SAA, I created an infographic to simplify the process of registering for disability accommodations. I focused on readability and engagement for students with reading and attention deficit disabilities, distilling paragraphs of text into an easy to follow, color-coded and illustrated guide.
BEFORE: Complex info paragraph
AFTER: Color-coded visual guide
#6: Associated Students of the University of Puget Sound
For ASUPS, I created a wide variety of event posters for both print and digital display. Assignments varied greatly in both tone and copy to be incorporated.
